Freelancers, Assemble!

A small, informal, weekly online call and peer-support group to connect with your fellow freelancers.

→ Join our calls

Each week, we come together to share our experiences of working independently. Bring a question, share a challenge, celebrate a success.

A little moment in the week to remind you that you might be working for yourself, but not by yourself.

Each call is just one hour out of your week, but it's a chance to connect with others working in a similar way to you, to get new perspectives, hear how others approach situations, and to celebrate the little wins.

Calls are scheduled weekly, you'll get an email with an invite to join - you don't have to to come every week, just drop-in when you fancy.

"A great way to cut through an otherwise solitary week, bounce ideas off people in the same boat as you - but with completely different experiences on that boat - and get new angles on old problems. I would say more nice things about them but I'm worried you'll take my spot on next week's call." Lolly · Freelancing since 2026

Add your email, and we'll send you an invite each week.

We never share your details with anyone. You can unsubscribe at any time. We'll send you emails about the weekly calls, and occasional emails about the work we do as a project. See our full privacy policy here.

Things we've chatted about so far...

Each call has a theme, based upon the questions people ask when RSVPing for the session. We try to cover a wide range of topics, but each conversation naturally explores and expands, and we aim to always look at both the pragmatic and emotional sides of the topic.

Where do you get your creative inspiration from? How do you keep your motivation and accountability levels up when working solo? How do you get comfortable showing up in your own marketing? How do you invest in your own development? How do you juggle multiple projects? How do you deal with a project going wrong? How do you deal with feeling overwhelmed? How do you approach pricing? How does imposter syndrome affect you? What do you do when you've not got work?
